Environment design and habit tracking – workout and diet habit

Environment Design: Clear emphasizes the impact of the physical and social environment on our habits. He suggests making changes to our environment that make desired behaviors easier and unwanted behaviors more difficult.

Habit Tracking: Clear highlights the importance of tracking habits to measure progress and maintain accountability. By keeping a habit tracker, we can visually see our progress and make adjustments if needed.

To create an environment supportive of my change in workout habits, I invited a few friends to join me. We shared our goals and agreed to track and support each other. I think working with partners helps force me to follow my plan. We will also inspire each other.

I plan to prepare healthy food in advance and place them in the refrigerator so that I won’t have to eat junk food next time when I’m starving.
